Pearl Protocol is a decentralized federated learning platform that enables collaborative AI model training while preserving data privacy. The platform uses blockchain technology for transparency and fair compensation distribution.
3. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of their wallet and private keys
- Ensuring their data and model contributions comply with applicable laws
- Not attempting to manipulate or exploit the platform's training mechanisms
- Respecting intellectual property rights of other participants
4. Privacy and Data Protection
Pearl Protocol is designed with privacy-first principles. Your raw data never leaves your control. Only model updates are shared during federated training, with differential privacy guarantees protecting individual contributions.
5. Intellectual Property
Model creators retain ownership of their announced models. Contributors gain proportional rights to rewards sharing based on their training participation. All smart contract code is open source under MIT license.
6. Rewards Sharing
Rewards distribution is handled automatically by smart contracts based on verified training contributions. Pearl Protocol takes no platform fees - all rewards go directly to model creators and contributors.
7. Disclaimers
Pearl Protocol is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The platform is experimental and users participate at their own risk. We are not responsible for losses due to smart contract bugs, network failures, or user error.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Pearl Protocol or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
9. Modifications
Pearl Protocol reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
